Small
Group Ministry
Small group ministry is the best model we
have for healing and deliverance from addictions, hurts and abusive childhoods.
If we want to be set free from life's hurts we must allow the Holy spirit
to bring the power of Jesus Christ to our specific areas of need. This
might include any or all of the following:
•Forgiveness of Sins
•Healing of Damaged Minds, Wills and Emotions
•Deliverance from Mental Strongholds
All of these and much more can take place in the safe environment
of a support group. A support group is a small group of people meeting
voluntarily on a regular basis in order to support and help one another
in their recovery from addictions, past hurts and mental strongholds.
Support Groups provide encouragement, strength and discipleship. Attendees
are prayed for regularly during each meeting and in between meetings.
Support Groups provide accountability for continued growth and healing
as well as expression of individual ministry and service to one another.
New groups are birthed in various ways. Usually they come
together after a Sunrise "Free Indeed" Conference or "Equipping
Seminar." Attendees of these events receive healing or deliverance
and want to share this new freedom with others. Other groups have been
formed as a result of someone responding to an appeal from the Lord to
oversee a small group that deals with the deep issues of the heart. Others
have come at the request of a church pastor or ministry leader.
