Children's Church Ministry

This class meets the needs of children ages six through eleven, or grades K - 5th. Kids in this class stay with their parents during Praise and Worship, then are released to class after the offering and special music. The curriculum used is called "God's Way, My Way" and reinforces the theme that God's way of doing things is always better than ours. Past lessons have been:

•Rules Are Needed For Better Living
•God Wants You to Know Him
•You Can Learn to Make Wise Choices
•Respecting Leaders and Authority in Government
•Some Enemies of Health and Happiness

These lessons are theologically sound and are presented so that a six year old can understand and an eleven year old feels challenged and encouraged. Lessons are taught using a variety of tools including: games, crafts, Q & A, coloring pages, plays, songs and snacks.

Since most children in this age group are emergent or proficient readers, they will often take turns reading aloud from the Bible. Our goal is that God will speak to the hearts of these grade-schoolers so that seeds will be planted that will mature and produce fruit in their lives.
